MovieSimpsons exemplifies why the Simpsons will always be superior to Family Guy. Movie references (any pop culture reference, really)* on The Simpsons are done in such a way that even if you don’t GET the reference you still get the humor. With Family Guy if you don’t get the reference you’re stuck watching a 3 minute riff on the talent show scene from Revenge of the Nerds wondering WTF you’re looking at. It’s as if the writers are going “DID YOU SEE THIS MOVIE??? REMEMBER IT? REMEMBER???”
